Brett Wheatley
Brett has been involved in the global insurance and emergency assistance industries since 1985, working for leading global insurers and providers within Australia and overseas.
Regarded as a subject matter expert and highly respected throughout the assistance landscape, he has acted as key account manager for global programs with Visa, Amex, Dell and AIG. He currently leads as an emergency assistance and risk advisor to many major Australian corporations. Brett has post graduate qualifications as a Master of Management from UWS and Dip Ed. P and Grad Dip P.
He is leading Global 24 Advisory & Assistance as a challenger to the major global players, focusing on client intimacy, agility and responsiveness.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Julian Heath
Julian has extensive experience enabling organisations to succeed in complex and opaque environments. Julian is acknowledged for his ability to lead high performance and multi‐disciplinary and culturally diverse teams to deliver robust and innovative solutions to the most challenging and confronting of situations.
His formative years were in the Australian Defence Force, where he gained extensive experience in the management of complex problems, including working with the United Nations in the Middle East and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Europe, principally in the areas of peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance.
Julian has post graduate qualifications in management, and defence studies, and qualifications in risk management, fraud prevention, detection and investigation, vocational education and training; and has attended advanced management programmes at Harvard Business School.

Grant Strudwick
Grant is a professional risk executive who has amassed a portfolio of resilience consulting and senior operational risk roles across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He has guided corporate crisis teams through a range of serious events including malicious product extortion, illegal detention, cyber-crime, corruption scandals and natural disasters. He has also managed numerous country evacuations including Egypt, Mali, Algeria, South Sudan, Burkina Faso, Nepal, and Ebola ravaged West Africa.
Grant’s key objectives within Global 24 are to grow client relationships, deliver risk advisory services and oversee our security assistance network quality and governance.

Phillip Varley McLeod

Managing Director – Advisory
Stephanie Horwath
Stephanie has been involved in the emergency assistance industry for 3 years, providing support to the operational leadership team at Global 24 Advisory & Assistance as an executive manager.
Stephanie is the lead on many core services within our global clients & services network having over 7 years’ experience in customer service and a background in law and security. Completing her Degree in Law and Paralegal studies in 2022 and her degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2023.
Stephanie’s key objectives within Global 24 are to foster our existing client relationships and to actively and efficiently grow our client base.
